SUMMARY
As a Client Partner for medical coding services, you will be responsible for applying your knowledge of medical terminology to ascribe codes to medical charts. We are looking for Medical Coding professionals with experience in Inpatient, Outpatient, Anesthesia, and Emergency Department Coding on the ICD-10 coding system. Life Sciences graduates may also apply.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The medical coding team performs a variety of activities involving the coding of medical records by ascribing accurate diagnosis and CPT codes as per ICD-10 and CPT-4 systems of coding. They perform Coding for Outpatient and/or Inpatient records with a minimum of 96% accuracy and as per turnaround time requirements. They are responsible for exceeding the productivity standards for Medical Coding - as per the productivity norms for inpatient and/or specialty specific outpatient coding standards
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Graduates in life sciences with 1-2 years experience in Medical Coding. We are looking for specialties such as Cardiology, Radiology, Pathology, Anesthesia, Emergency Room, Surgery, and others. Exposure to CPT-4, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, and a CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CIC/COC certification from AAPC /AHIMA would be a plus.
Fresh graduates with good knowledge of medical terminology, Human Anatomy, and Physiology can apply.
